Last week Kelly and I went to an Alpha School showcase.
And I appreciated it for reasons I wasn’t expecting.
Alpha School is a fascinating concept.
Self-paced learning. AI feedback loops. Mastery instead of memorization.
All very important to us.
But what really caught our attention is this:
It’s a school built around:
- appealing to kids,
- how they learn best, and
- making good use of their time.
That’s not just a tweak to the old model.
That’s a full zag while the rest of education keeps zigging.
It’s so easy to complain about how the education system is - whatever.
Alpha built an alternative.
They’re just doing it.
It’s entrepreneurship at its finest.
They saw a broken system and designed a better one.
That’s what every business owner has to do.
We’re all surrounded by systems that could use an update.
Old ways of working, leading, and learning.
The opportunity is there for anyone willing to question those systems
and build something better.
Alpha is redesigning how students learn.
👉🏻That’s what Elon is doing for space travel and electric vehicles.
👉🏻That’s what Daniel Wakefield is doing for headshots, redesigning how professionals are seen.
👉🏻That’s what Natasha Walstra does for LinkedIn, redesigning how founders become visible and trusted (More on Natasha BELOW 👇🏻)
👉🏻And that’s what I’m doing for business ownership with Redesigned.Business, reshaping how founders see, think, and operate, so their business grows because they do.
Different industries. Same principle.
See problem >>> Create better solution.
That’s entrepreneurship.
Whether you’re reinventing schools, industries, or just your own way of doing business.
